It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

April 23, 2018

I think I have mentioned that it has been cool way up here on the Continental Divide.

A couple days ago, I woke up to this sight!

New Mexico Snow Missy

Where are the Christmas decorations!

I took those photos before sunrise so the lighting is not the best. Sorry about that…

It went away pretty quickly but the moisture was very much appreciated! New Mexico is very dry and there are already several forest fires raging. An inch of rain (which is a lot for around here) would be a very welcome thing.

Wow! It is pretty…and you do need the water..but YIKES!!! We are home and the weather has been delightful! I shouldn’t speak too loud as we know that we could still have a cold snap.

You should have made some snow balls for the Bus Boys to chase πŸ™‚

Ha! I suppose I should have. The only problem is that they seem to track in a lot of dirt and mud – like little kids!!

I was wondering why you already had Jeep tracks in the snow? Did you first go for an early morning drive in the snow before you took the early morning pictures?

Nice catch Roger! Believe it or not, I did!! Full story coming later but it was the day I lost my wallet. I made a run out to the gate to see if maybe it had fallen out there.
