Rio Salado River

August 27, 2012

Ready for some low level sight-seeing?!?!

The following is a video of the Rio Salado river in New Mexico.  I know, it isn’t much of a river. However; you have to remember that this is the desert.  Most of the time, there is no visible water. We’ve had a lot of afternoon thunderstorms lately so this video is a treat!

If you’re like me and easily entertained, you too will enjoy the RV-3 shadows racing along the ground!

The Rio Salado empties into the Rio Grande about 15 miles north of Socorro, NM.
