This past fall I spent a week dry camping in the Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area (as mentioned here).
While the weather wasn’t as warm as I had liked, the sights were still fantastic. I captured some really nice video and photos while there and finally got around to putting a short video together.
I hope you enjoy the sights as much as I did!

Awesome video, very steady and great color. Nice boondocking spot too :!
Thanks! Yes – I did enjoy that spot. The DJI Phantom 3 quadcopter does take some really great video! I sure wish the media would stop scaring everyone into thinking they are going to destroy the planet.
Found the Gorge by accident a year ago on our return trip to SoCal from the Midwest. While we didn’t see it from the air, the views just driving through are spectacular. Didn’t spend much time there but will definitely return some day. Hopefully with a diesel rather than the old gasser. The grades are rather challenging. I was pretty tense by the time we got to flat land. Another beautiful drive about 250 miles NE is Wind River Canyon along the Big Horn River. It’s on US 20 South of Thermopolis. Garyb1st, RV Forum.
