The Drive

As usual, the drive between Socorro, NM and Phoenix, AZ was spectacular.  The weather was a bit of everything – sunshine, blue skies, heavy snow, rain, and low clouds/fog.  Apparently I filled up with some bad gas as my car had some real problems for several hours. After filling up and adding a bottle of HEET, things eventually got better.  This is one of those stretches of road where mechanical problems would not be good.  It seems you can drive for hours without seeing another vehicle – forget about a mechanic!
