Road Trip

November 7, 2011

I have the opportunity to work in Phoenix this week and I am taking it!  Not because it is warm or the golf is great (I’m not a golfer though I think I would like to be) but because it is chance to get away and do something different.  I seem to be caught in a world of waiting.  I am unable to make a decision about anything whilst I wait for the world to decide what to do with me.  For somebody that is a do’er, a fix’er, a mover and shaker; this is what I imagine prison is like.  Nonetheless; you just have to keep your eye on the positive and, in my case at least, there is a ton of positive – I have been blessed.

For those that have never driven route 60 between Socorro, NM and Globe, AZ; I highly recommend it.  I find the drive incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and the drop into the Salt River Canyon is breathtaking.  I’m driving that route over today, will work for a few days, and drive back on Thursday.  I’ll try to remember to take my camera and also to actually use it!! 🙂
