Movie: 180 South

180 South” is far from a “new” movie but it was new to me.

I suppose the movie is somewhat of an environmentalist flick. However; it was done very tastefully. It doesn’t go crazy making man out to be evil and the destroyer of the planet. However; it does make it clear that we (mankind) are doing some really nasty things to our planet and need to “stop, turn 180 degrees, and a take a step forward”.  I really liked that point.

I am far from a “wacked out environmentalist” but some of the things that we are doing are obviously not good.  I know that puts everything into the opinion category and everyone has one of those.

I very much enjoyed the movie. The scenery, adventure, and the point were all very good.
