Like everyone, I’ve read of what the USADA has done to Lance Armstrong. Of course, they don’t have the power that they think they have but that is a different topic.
I think it is disgusting. No, not Lance. The USADA (U.S. Anti-Doping Agency).
I don’t know what Lance did or didn’t do. Frankly, I don’t care. Lance has been a hero and example to many, many folks. He has helped a huge number of people. He is a hard worker, a fighter, a survivor, and a fantastic example in this world of really, really poor hero’s.
In my opinion, this is a classic case of someone having success and someone else not liking it and doing everything possible to destroy that person. The USADA has been hounding and pursuing Lance for years. Lance has had to pay for his own defense. I can only imagine what it has cost him.
The thing that is frightening is that most people are oblivious of how much danger they are in of the same thing happening to them. It doesn’t take much for someone to destroy your life. A sexual harassment charge, a slip and fall on your driveway, and so on will cost you dearly. Even if you are innocent, the cost of defending yourself – even if you win – will likely drive you to bankruptcy. Ya – that’s what you get for doing NOTHING wrong. I suspect this is what Lance is getting for doing NOTHING wrong.
USADA: Get a life – go away – leave Lance alone.
Lance: I hope you continue cycling, winning, and enjoying the success that you have earned.
