Hair Cut

October 13, 2011

Once again, it was time for a hair cut.  More brain matter has escaped and it is beginning to appear that the gray hairs are going to win the fight for dominance.

I’ve never been good with a “new” barber.  It seems like it takes two or three times for a barber to figure out how to cut my hair “just right” so I was not terribly excited about today. A friend had told me of a new barber that I should try and I had decided that today was the day.  I am now a hermit and rarely go out into the public.  When I do, I never catch any beautiful creatures of the opposite sex checking me out.  I strongly suspect that they are quicker than me and I am just not catching them looking.  In any case, it didn’t seem that I had much to loose from a bad haircut so I off I went.

It’s taken me a really long time to figure this out – I enjoy meeting and talking to people.  Not a lot of them mind you – just me and the barber was a good number. Everyone has a story and everyone has had some tough times in life.  I generally find these stories to be encouraging and/or enlightening. In nearly every case, sharing with another individual just feels right.

So, how is the hair??  It’s ok and, even if not, give it a couple days and I’ll be as handsome as ever.
