I hit the movies the other day and gave Dark Shadows a shot. It seems that it was getting some poor reviews but a friend of mine said it was pretty good.
It is fairly typical of the Tim Burton – Johnny Depp movies in terms of being kinda strange. However; I really enjoyed it. There are many scenes from the 70’s so plenty of 70’s music to go with somehow managed to get a lot of humor from this. I probably have a weird sense of humor so would not suggest that everyone would find it funny – I did.
Eva Green, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter, and even Jackie Earle Haley (the bad kid from Bad News Bears) all played great parts.
