Customer Service Kudos

March 1, 2013

outboard boat motor engine customer serviceCustomer service is a rare thing, sadly.  However; it is not completely lost or forgotten.

My Father recently purchased a little outboard motor for his canoe from DirectBoats.com

After receiving the engine, he got to thinking that he may have purchased the wrong model and that the output shaft was too short for his purpose.

Dad sent an email to the company asking for suggestions/information.  Believe it or not, THEY CALLED HIM less than an hour later.

Dad was stunned at the time that the person spent with him and the patience that was shown.  In the end, they figured out that Dad had the right model.

I am VERY impressed with the customer service of this company.  This is such a rare thing these days. It shouldn’t be so rare, of course, but it is.  So, my point to posting about this is to encourage others to purchase from this company – they seem to be a good outfit!
