Time for a bit of a change. I’ve always liked muscle cars. You know, those loud, gas-guzzling beasts from the 50’s and 60’s?!?! While in high-school, I had a ’67 Firebird with a big 428 motor (from a Catalina) and, looking back, I’m lucky to have survived my own stupidity. Oh wait – I was… [Read More]
2022 First Flight – Elk and Buffalo
Happy 2022!! Hard to believe another year has come and gone. In my typical style, I wanted to get the new year started by committing aviation. I failed this year but it was due to high wind and bad weather. So, as soon as the second day of the year arrived – with good weather… [Read More]

Solving High Oil Temperature

The stock oil cooler location for the RV-4 is with it bolted onto the cylinder baffles behind cylinder #3. This is less… [Read More]
Snow on the Mountains
I’ve got a couple new videos for you! This one is filmed with a 360 degree camera. I’m still learning how to process the footage and turn it into a video so don’t expect too much. Do crank up the resolution though! This one I captured a few weeks ago. Short and sweet but… [Read More]
