Naked

August 4, 2011

I hated to do it but it seemed like the right thing to do. I removed the canvas from my boat. The Bimini and Dodger both came down and are safely stowed below. I happen to be at the boat in Florida this week and saw the storms building in the Atlantic. I figure if one of them make it to Florida I will be wishing that the canvas was down (and the boat was somewhere else) so I took care of it. Seems like most of the time that I do this type of thing all I am doing is creating work for myself but it seems to be the only way to ward off the evil damage spirits.

I am curious to know what triggers others to remove their canvas.

Oh, the best part…. I dropped a brand new wrench while removing the canvas.  I had stopped at Home Depot earlier today just to purchase this wrench.  Ka-plunk……  🙁
